Description
Lot #661 - Documented with a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, this 1970 Porsche 911T coupe has undergone a comprehensive nut-and-bolt bare-shell restoration that was started in 2017 and completed in 2018. It is powered by the original matching-numbers 2.2-liter 6-cylinder engine coupled to a rebuilt 5-speed transmission and equipped with PMO dual carburetors with K&N air filters and a custom oil breather. The engine was completely rebuilt by Kendall Porsche, an authorized Porsche dealership located in Bend, OR, in their vintage Porsche service center. It was restored to factory-correct specifications and retains many of the correct stickers throughout. During the restoration, engine compartment was restored, and the car was taken to a bare metal shell and finished in its original color of Bahia Red. It retains all the original sheet metal with exception of the rockers and the area where the batteries are located. It also retains the original factory VIN stamping and tags throughout. An authentic Porsche 911S front spoiler also was added. Optional equipment includes rear bumper horns, left antenna with loudspeaker and noise suppression, Classic Auto climate-control system, tinted glass all around and chrome solid disc wheels. The leatherette interior also was completely restored in the original black color and features a headliner, sun visors, rearview mirror, dash, steering wheel, door panels, door pockets, seats, seat belts and carpeting. It rides on authentic Porsche Fuchs 15x7" wheels. It has 300 test miles since completion.
