Description
Lot #687 - Finished in red paint with pearl effect, this 1967 Chevrolet Chevy II Nova SS custom coupe is an iconic design and utilizes a combination of modern engineering and classic styling. The car rides on a fully custom Art Morrison chassis with power coming from a Chevrolet Performance LSX 454/620hp V8 engine mated to a TREMEC 6-speed manual transmission. The body has had subtle modifications from the lengthening of the front fenders to a complete hand-fabricated floor pan and inner fender wells; the vent windows are removed; and it features one-piece factory-tinted windows. All trim and accessories have been polished or chrome-plated as per Ridler chrome standards. The underside features a polished aluminum driveshaft and Strange 9-inch third member, chrome coilovers and polished Wilwood disc brakes on all four corners. It rides on Billet Specialties wheels with 20x8 in the front and 20x12 in the rear wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup II tires. The entire build took more than five years with no detail overlooked and also incorporates Greening Manufactured LED tail lamps, hidden coil packs in the firewall and billet hinges. The interior is fully custom with seats, center console, dash, headliner and trunk all covered in top-of-the-line smooth leather with chromed billet trim inlays.
