Description
Lot #698 - This custom 2018 K5 Blazer-inspired Tahoe Z71 4x4 started out as a 4-door SUV and underwent a complete transformation by Flat Out Autos of Jonesboro, AR, into a custom 2-door Tahoe that was featured as a display vehicle at SEMA in 2021. The transformation started by shortening the wheelbase by 8-inches and removing the rear doors. The K5 conversion continued by completely re-skinning the exterior with the classic 1972 K5 styling. It is all steel with the exception of the rear tailgate hatch, which is a custom carbon fiber part that was made exclusively for this conversion. Additionally, it incorporates the larger rear quarter glass from the square-body K5. The conversion focused not only on the K5 styling but also on retaining all the modern safety and convenience features, including front and rear air conditioning, lane-keeping assist, front and rear parking sensors, rear backup camera and airbags, including side curtain airbags. It comes equipped with a 5.3-liter V8 engine backed by a 6-speed automatic transmission. The stock black leather interior has been accented with heated seats with classic houndstooth inserts and a sunroof. This custom SUV rides on 20-inch custom polished "hubcap" wheels by Cutis Speed wrapped in BFGoodrich white letter tires.
