Lot #1056 - This 1967 Camaro SS 396 Resto-Mod was the beneficiary of a professional restoration and custom build upgraded with modern technology throughout and has less than 100 miles since complete. Power comes from a brand-new Chevy Performance 6.2-liter LS3 V8 crate engine mated to a TREMEC 5-speed manual transmission sending 490hp to the rear wheels (dyno report included). The engine is fitted with a Vintage Air chrome front pulley and accessory kit and is cooled with a Be Cool aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. The engine breathes through ceramic-coated headers connected to a dual 2.5-inch Flowmaster exhaust system. This Camaro's upgraded suspension is RideTech's StreetGRIP system, which includes composite leaf springs, dual-rate coil springs, adjustable HQ Series monotube shock absorbers, heavy-duty front sway bar, Delrin control arm bushings, tall upper ball joints, lower ball joints and Delrin leaf spring bushings. Other upgrades include a Holley in-tank fuel pump and tank, as well as power steering. Stopping is provided by a power-assisted TRSD Signature master cylinder connected to a set of TRSD Signature drilled and slotted disc brakes front and rear. There is a new climate-control system from Vintage Air. The Camaro sits on a set of Ridler wheels, 17 inches up front and 18 inches out back, wrapped in Nitto performance tires.
