Lot #1309.1 - This black 1969 Boss 429 Mustang is one of only 859 built in 1969 and is a four-owner documented car. It came to Pennsylvania in September 2009 and received a full rotisserie restoration in 2014. It has the original matching-numbers drivetrain and all-original Ford sheet metal, and is powered by a 429ci V8 engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission, with the original VIN stamped on both the engine block, transmission and both inner fenders with pictures included. The car also still retains its original door tag and Shelby American tag on the driver's door, as well as the Kar Kraft number 1936, the original heads, intake, carburetor, exhaust manifolds, 9-inch rear end, space-saver spare with original jack assemble and inflator bottle, just to mention a few. It has been driven about 100 miles and kept in a climate-controlled garage since the completion of the restoration. The actual documented miles are 30,148, which show as such on the Pennsylvania title. The car comes with an Elite Marti Report and two Build Sheets that were found in the car during restoration (one showing it was sold to Shelby America and the other to the original dealer, Homer Heller Inc. in Escondido, CA).
