Description
Lot #1144 - This Resto-Mod 1966 Chevy C10 has undergone a complete frame-off restoration. It showcases a modern drivetrain, custom interior and a trick suspension setup. Powered by a mild cammed 5.3-liter LS engine that runs through a 4L60E automatic transmission and posi-traction rear end. The truck is running a Holley EFI system and has a full custom exhaust system. Cooling comes from an oversized radiator with electric fans keeping temps at bay. Finally, the engine compartment was finished off with extensive custom metalwork. The suspension was completely replaced with a Porterbuilt kit to lay the frame on the ground. The truck has new upper and lower control arms, a dropmember and an adjustable wishbone rear end. Suspension height is controlled via a digital AccuAir system consisting of two VIAIR compressors and a large tank. The paint is a two-stage base and clear, and all of the stainless trim and chrome has been replaced. It features all-new glass, new rubber trim and new gaskets. The interior of the truck has a Snowden seat with Relicate leather and vintage cloth inserts. The custom-made door panels also use Relicate leather and inserts to match the bench. Underneath the custom carpeting is a layer of Dynamat and beneath the dash the truck uses a new wiring harness from American Autowire. Keeping the cabin cool is a Vintage Air climate-control system.
