Lot #754.1 - This 1954 Chevrolet Corvette is highly original and one of only four with factory black exterior paint. It has red vinyl interior trim and carpets with a black soft-top. It is powered by its original matching-numbers 235/155hp Blue Flame inline-6 engine with three Carter side-draft carburetors and backed by a 2-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. It is equipped with signal-seeking AM radio and a heater. It has been completely gone through with all new fluids, rebuilt carburetors and a new battery. This first-generation example is in excellent condition throughout. It rides on brand-new radial whitewall tires that look like bias-plys.
