Lot #1291.1 - This 1951 Chevy 3100 5-window pickup was custom-built by the acclaimed builder Roger Burman, owner of Lakeside Rods and Rides out of Rockwell City, IA. It sits on a Chevy S-10 frame fitted with all new A-arms, tie rods, steering arms, 2-inch drop spindles with 1-inch drop front springs, new 3-inch drop leaf springs, a four-wheel-drive S-10 rear-end narrowed 2-1/2-inches with new axles and disc brakes, as well as a new driveshaft. Power comes from a fuel-injected 6.0-liter LQ9 LS engine mated to a 4L80E 4-speed automatic transmission. It features a CVF polished front-drive system, LS3 manifolds, custom-fabricated color-matched engine and radiator covers, smoothed firewall, new exhaust and a new aluminum radiator with an electric fan. This custom pickup rides on Billet Specialties wheels, 20x10-inch rears and 18x8-inch up front, wrapped in BFGoodrich tires. The custom burgundy leather interior features a Billet Specialties steering wheel and door handles, as well as plush carpeting. Other modern conveniences include power steering, power brakes, climate control system, electric windows, cruise control, tilt steering wheel, stereo system with CD, amplifier and speakers, as well as a backup camera. The exterior is finished in Axalta Sage Green paint complemented by a wood bed with stainless-steel strips, all-new chrome and smoke-tinted glass. A fresh build with 200 actual miles.
