Description
Lot #1446 - This 1946 Dodge Power Wagon underwent an extensive 2-year complete nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration. The body was taken down to bare metal and treated properly for longevity and finished off in Dodge Destroyer Gray and Dodge Black. It's powered by a 3.9-liter turbo-diesel Cummins engine, mated to a BorgWarner 4-speed manual transmission. Hydraulic power steering turns the massive tires with ease. Custom built two-piece wheels are wrapped with 37x12.5-inch radial tires. The 4-wheel disc brakes are powered by a hydro-boosted Wilwood master cylinder. The clutch is hydraulically powered by Wilwood and the custom slave cylinder is built by Novak conversions; hanging pedal assemblies are full aluminum and built by Wilwood. The luxurious interior was custom built to allow more leg room for the driver and is finished off with a custom gray Alcantara suede headliner. AutoMeter gauges are mounted with custom bullet pods and the interior also features a chrome tilt column, while a flatscreen Pioneer stereo with Bluetooth displays a clear picture of the rear of the truck with the rearview camera. The smoke tinted glass is powered by custom electric windows. The original split bumper was equipped with a modern WARN electric winch. The engine is cooled by an oversized aluminum radiator and electric fan. The bed was finished off with hand-planed wood with six coats of clear. The underside of the truck houses the custom all-aluminum fuel tank and battery.
