Description
Lot #450 - This 1972 Pro-Touring-inspired Chevy Nova is powered by a 5.3-liter V8 LS engine upgraded with an LS1 intake and 2006 Z06 LS6 camshaft. The heavily modified engine features 28.8-pound fuel injectors, MSD wires, Holley fuel rails, Holley mid-mount system, Holley Sniper EFI throttle body and Holley aluminum LS valve covers. Spent gases are sent through a full stainless-steel exhaust system. The engine is fed via a Fore Innovations fuel system, and things are kept cool thanks to a Cold Case radiator with SPAL fans and custom-made shroud. All this is wired up through a Painless full wiring kit and PSI stand-alone harness and ECU. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a T56 6-speed manual transmission and onto a 10-bolt posi-traction rear end with Detroit Locker. The Nova rides on a TCI complete front subframe with coilovers and power steering. Other features includes Wilwood 4-wheel disc brakes and master cylinder kit and a Detroit Speed mini-tub kit with 3-inch lowering springs. The car features Ringbrothers Air Frame hood hinges and clutch reservoir. It also features a shaved firewall with a Raingear hidden wiper system. The bumpers and trim are powder-coated in Prismatic Silver to offset the Charcoal Gray paint and red interior. Completing the look is a set of American Racing wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich G-Force T/A tires. The interior is done with a full TMI Sport R interior with suede inserts, full center console, carpet kit with mats and one-piece headliner. Additional features include a Vintage Air Sure Fit system, Tanks Inc EFI fuel tank and Dakota Digital instrumentation. The Nova also comes with its original Protect-O-Plate, owner's manual and warranty info.
