Lot #455 - This 1955 Chevy 210 2-Door Post started with a garage-kept donor car that features 23,000 miles (the title reads mileage exempt). The custom Chevy rides on an Art Morrison chassis and features independent suspension all the way around. Power comes from a Chevrolet LT1 performance engine upgraded with a billet and polish kit as well as aluminum cross-flow radiator with dual fans. The LT1 V8 is mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission and rides on Budnick wheels. The '55 uses Wilwood brakes with 6-piston calipers and drilled rotors up front and inboard brakes on at the rear with aluminum calipers and carrier assembly. The paint door jams and trunk are original, with the bumper jack sticker still on inside of trunk. The Chevy has been completely rebuilt with all-new rubber seal and glass. Additional features a include billet aluminum master cylinder, Vintage Air climate control, billet aluminum hood hinges, Dakota Digital dash, American Autowire system, tilt wheel and Global cruise control.
