Description
Lot #744 - Star of not one but two "Fast & Furious" films. Driven by actor Paul Walker in the first entry in the "Fast Saga," this car was used for multiple interior and exterior shots during the filming of 2001's "The Fast and the Furious" and 2003's "2 Fast 2 Furious," according to the extensive documentation that accompanies the car and a Certificate of Authenticity. The car was built by Eddie Paul at The Shark Shop in El Segundo, CA, for the first movie and brought back and modified by the original builder for its role as "Slap Jack's Supra" in the sequel. The Supra would later be returned to original form, with the resplendent Lamborghini Diablo Candy Orange pearl paint and famed Troy Lee-designed "Nuclear Gladiator" motif along the side. To complete the look, the Supra features a Bomex front spoiler and side skirts, TRD-style hood, APR aluminum biplane rear wing, and 19-inch Dazz Motorsport Racing Hart M5 Tuner wheels. This example is a factory turbo car powered by the famed 2JZ-GTE 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-6 engine mated to a 4-speed automatic transmission.
