Adjustable transmission shift points can be connected VIA Bluetooth with Dakota Digital App for IOS and Android users. The engine and transmission were out of a donor 2001 Silverado 1500 Howard's Rattler cam P/N HRS-198035-09 installed after compression check, cleaning and paint. PCM is mounted in-cab behind the glove box with a custom bracket, and the OBD port is located on the driver's side close to the hood release. The new dual 2.5-inch exhaust system is equipped with the Flowmaster 70 Series dual in-and-out muffler and is upgraded with an S&B cold-air intake, relocating the battery to the driver's side with a factory battery tray and tie-downs. Stopping power comes from new front brakes with Centric rotors and Wagner perfect stop pads, new wheel seals, repacked bearings, and new brake calipers.
