Description
Lot #845 - This Land Cruiser FJ62 has 63,068 actual miles and has undergone a thorough refresh. It's powered by a 4.0-liter 6-cylinder engine paired with an automatic transmission. All mechanical work was performed by Toyota technicians at the Toyota dealership (supported by over $20,000 in receipts), and then the transmission was sent out to the Toyota-recommended specialist. The mechanical work included tie rod ends, a 4-wheel alignment, replacement of all brake components, replacement of all hardware in the engine compartment with Toyota parts, clamps, hoses and gaskets, removal and cleaning of the fuel injectors, new fuel filters, removal and resealing of the transfer cases, new radiator, replacement of all body mounts, new front axle bearings and seals, new front Aisin seals, new drive belts and new timing cover gasket. It also included a power steering flush, oil pan gaskets, valve cover gaskets, valve adjustment, cylinder-head gasket, side cover gasket, replacement of all fluids, new water pump, new heater control valve and a new power antenna. After the mechanical refurbishment, all done in the last 18 months, the vehicle was disassembled in preparation for a sand and buff of the paint. It was repainted in its original color of Royal Blue. The wheels are original to the car. New bumpers, bumper ends, front grille, wiper arms, headlight surrounds were installed after the base coat/clear coat was color sanded and treated to a wool pad and foam pad buff out. The entire interior - including the seats, carpet, headliner, door panels and all trim - is original and in great condition, as are the gauges, levers, knobs and needles. All window switches were cleaned, contact points inspected and the window motors inspected and greased. The interior lights are bright, and the gauge faces show no hazing or surface scratches. All seals and gaskets were replaced and all hoses and clamps in the engine compartment were replaced. A new Toyota radiator was installed along with a new starter and rebuilt alternator. All features function as they should. The turn signals self-cancel, and everything engages as it should. The shifter engages accurately.
