Description
Lot #719 - This all-steel '34 Ford Tudor sedan remained in the same owner's care for 16 years after leaving Boyd Coddington Hot Rods in October 2003, and has been pampered, rarely driven and always stored in a climate-controlled garage. The body has a 3-inch chop, filled roof drip rails, shaved door handles, and is painted in two-tone PPG black and House of Kolor Charcoal Gray. This hot rod is powered by a 350ci 8-cylinder Chevy engine with gear-driven performance cam and headers backed by a TH350 automatic transmission linked to a 9-inch Lincoln Versalle rear differential. The custom TCI boxed frame chassis rides on Intelliride air suspension with modern tubular-armed Mustang II front suspension and power rack & pinion steering. The brakes are 4-wheel discs by Wilwood complete with parking brake option. This Ford rides on Coddington Harm chromed aluminum 17- and 20-inch wheels wrapped with Pirelli P-Zero Nero rubber. The Gabe Lopez custom leather and tweed interior includes Vintage Air, power windows, tilt wheel and a cassette stereo with CD changer. Many undercarriage parts are chromed, including the rear axle housing, upper and lower rear control arms, tubular A-arms, front spindles and brake caliper mounts. This build was completed by several top names in the industry and lightly driven since completed.
