Description
This 1969 Chevrolet Nova Pro-Touring Resto-Mod was completed in June 2019 with approximately 800 break-in miles and is finished in PPG 2 stage Nardo Gray with Matte Black accents. It's powered by a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine producing in excess of 550hp mated to a TREMEC TR6060 6-speed manual transmission. It's cooled down with an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. It's equipped with a Vintage Air front runner heating and air conditioning system. The engine compartment was shaved, smoothed and color-matched to the outside and all wires and lines are hidden for a clean look. The suspension has been upgraded with a Speedtech Extreme subframe with torque arm rear suspension, front and rear dual adjustable aluminum coilovers, upper and lower tubular A-arms, Articulink trailing arm, rack & pinion setup, crossmember and Detroit Speed mini-tubs. Stopping power is provided by C6 Corvette Z06 disc brakes on all four corners, with 14-inch rotors up front and 13.5-inch rotors in the rear. This Nova is also equipped with a custom-built narrowed rear end with an Auburn TrueTrac posi-traction unit, Moser axles and 3.73 gears. It also has a narrowed fuel tank, electric fuel pump, Ultimate long-tube headers, cold-air intake and a custom MagnaFlow 3-inch exhaust. The interior is completely custom, and features front and rear RECARO seats, custom-molded door panels and center console, Ididit tilt steering column, Billet Specialties steering wheel, 7-speed windshield wipers from Detroit Speed, a 2500-watt Pioneer stereo system with Bluetooth, and 1969 Camaro dash with new Dakota Digital RTX gauges with Bluetooth capability. It sits on a set of custom Matte Black 18-inch Forgeline 3-piece wheels with 18-inch performance tires. Additionally, all glass, windshield, molding and trim are brand-new. This is a complete nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration with over 2,000 man-hours in the build. This Nova is fast, handles like it's on rails and has all the creature comforts of a modern car.
