Lot #458 - This is a fully customized 2008 Shelby Mustang GT500KR0927 with 1,037 actual miles. All parts are Shelby and the transformation started in 2015 at 43 miles, beginning with a Shelby widebody kit. Modifications include 15-inch Wilwood 6-piston brakes on the front, 4-piston brakes out back and Ford racing shocks. Michelin 345/30ZR20 and 275/35ZR20 tires are mounted on HRE wheels with hardened lugs and front and rear Ford race suspensions. Custom front brake cooling tubes were added, along with hood shocks. Power is supplied by a Kenne Bell supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine pumping out 771hp backed by a 6-speed manual transmission. The engine is outfitted with three heavy-duty radiators, custom set of blue supercharger cooling hoses, oil separator and four Level III COMP camshafts. There is a 1,000hp-capable clutch and dual plate, which pushes a carbon-fiber driveshaft with safety loop. The engine breathes through long-tube headers and fuel is supplied by 85-pound fuel injectors. Inside the cockpit is a Kenwood sound system, video cameras on the front and rear, and XM radio and guidance system. Gauge monitoring is provided by three gauges (boost, fuel pressure and oil pressure) on the A-pillar. There is an Escort 9500ci radar detector with installed front and rear sensors for radar and laser. A full carbon-fiber package is present under the hood and in the interior, and the entire vehicle is protected by Opticoat ceramic coating.
