Description
Lot #446 - This Pro-Touring 1968 GMC custom short-bed pickup has been refinished in GT Silver Metallic with a custom cowl-induction hood featuring Rally Red hood stripes. The cab has been subtly modified by adding a 3-inch extension behind the seat to provide more cab space. With hundreds of hours of fabrication, the bumpers have been relocated closer to the body, rear tailgate spoiler added, fuel tank relocated and an oak rear bed installed. This pickup is powered by a 6.0-liter LS 8-cylinder engine mated to a 4L80E automatic transmission and is equipped with a 12-bolt posi-traction rear differential, Hotchkis sport suspension, power steering, power front disc brakes, and 18- and 19-inch Foose Legend wheels. Some of the accessories include Thorley ceramic-coated headers, Be Cool radiator, Painless wiring, Ididit steering column, Phantom gauges and Viper alarm system. The black-leather-seat interior features billet dash, glove box and door inserts, a custom Autosound radio, and a Vintage Air heating and cooling system. The no-expense-spared build of this GMC has taken several hundred painstaking hours, with many modifications and alterations done. From the Greg Gutek Collection.
