Lot #346.1 - This custom 1969 Buick Riviera Gran Sport is powered by a rebuilt 430ci 8-cylinder engine paired to a matching-numbers automatic transmission. Almost all of the restoration work was completed more than four years ago, and the car has about 500 miles since completion. Its exterior was stripped to bare metal and repainted in a two-tone red and black base coat with a hand-painted pinstripe and clear coat finish. The interior was restored, and all-new leather and carpet were installed. The headliner and door panels were also reupholstered, and all-new rubbers and window felts were installed. It also has new brake lines and master cylinder. The driveline was rebuilt and balanced, and the front suspension and brakes have all been gone through. It has new glass and almost all of the chrome has been redone. The interior sports new Classic Instruments gauges and wiring, and the whole thing rides on new 20-inch ARE custom wheels and Nitto tires.
