Description
Lot #144 - This 1971 RS Camaro is full custom Resto-Mod from the engine bay and the interior to the full Schwartz chassis and exhaust ported through the quarter-panels. This car has great attention to detail from the front to the back, starting with the custom chin spoiler and LED headlights, cowl-induction hood and support top by Eddie Motor Sport Hinges. The 6.2-liter supercharged LSA engine is straight from GM and is surrounded by a custom inner fender well and radiator support; all piping and wiring is hidden for a very clean engine compartment. Backing up the engine is a TREMEC 6-speed manual transmission with a McLeod dual-clutch system with scatter shield; the clutch and brakes are controlled through a Wilwood adjustable pedal setup with a 6.25:1 pedal ratio. The body sits on a full Schwartz chassis with 6-piston calipers and 14-inch rotors with 3:89 gear ratio in the rear end and RideTech shocks. The exhaust is custom stainless steel, wrapped at the tailpipes and exiting through the quarter-panels. Fuel is supplied by a Rick's stainless-steel tank and pump. The interior is fully custom with AutoMeter Phantom II gauges. A full roll cage is concealed in the interior, which features custom houndstooth seats and a Rockford Fosgate stereo with Kicker amps and speakers. The car rides on Forgeline wheels (18x12" rear and 18x10" front) and BFGoodrich G-force Rival S tires.
