This car appeared in its own episode during the first season and was one of six cars featured in the "Coolest Cars" episode from Season 2. "Monte Fuego" was also featured in both "Overhaulin'" books and the magazine, and was immortalized in two Johnny Lighting Foose diecast models (1/18 and 1/44 scale). Powered by a Vortech supercharged ZZ4 350ci Chevy engine, Art Carr 200-4R overdrive transmission and a DiffWorks 10-bolt rear end with 3:55 gears. Hotchkis suspension, MagnaFlow exhaust, Baer disc brakes and a set of Foose wheels custom made just for this Monte Carlo. Other highlights include a handcrafted leather interior, a 2000-watt audio system, remote door and trunk openers, shaved door handles and trim, custom filled and narrowed bumpers, and a stunning silver-pearl paint job with racing stripes and ghost flames by Chip Foose himself.
