Description
Lot #692 - This four-wheel-drive 1972 GMC Jimmy recently underwent a 2-1/2-year frame-off restoration. It has all-new body panels with great lines and gaps. The exterior is finished in Hugger Orange paint and everything is new, including the exterior chrome and accessories. The fully restored white top has all-new weatherstripping. The interior is also brand-new, except for the original radio and the original center console, which has been restored. It's powered by a built 383ci V8 stroker engine dressed to look original and painted in the correct GMC Red. The engine is backed by a TH350 3-speed automatic transmission and NP205 transfer case, both of which were professionally rebuilt. This truck is lifted 4 inches and has new Rancho suspension, with both the front and rear driveshafts made to accept the lift. The front and rear differentials were rebuilt, and the rear was upgraded to limited slip using all-new Yukon Gear parts. The full custom exhaust was made with a removeable crossover. It rides on new 33-inch Dick Cepek tires mounted on restored 15-inch factory Rally wheels. This Jimmy has over 500 test miles on it, and runs and drives as good as it looks.
