Lot #376 - This 1966 Oldsmobile 442 convertible has an older nut-and-bolt restoration. It is powered by a 455ci 8-cylinder engine with the Tri-Carb Performance Package backed by a Muncie M21 4-speed manual transmission with the factory Hurst shifter and dual exhausts. This classic can be referred to as a 6-4-2, with a 6-barrel carburetor from the Tri-Power, along with the 4-speed transmission and a dual exhaust. This performance package raised the horsepower to 350hp at 5000 rpm. The paint was also upgraded to GM Astro Blue, also known as Lucerne Blue. In its day, the 442 naming scheme meant a 4-barrel carburetor, with 4-on-the-floor transmission and dual exhausts. The tires are new Firestone wide oval red lines, as is the spare. The headlights have been upgraded to halogens, with the originals included in the sale. Two sets of authentic color-matching floor mats are included, as well as an extra rebuilt Hurst shifter.
