Fabricated in San Jose, CA, this car was later imported to Canada in 1982. Transformed into a GT350 re-creation in 2004 with 3,000 miles since, and was kept in a temperature-controlled garage. Powered by a balanced and blueprinted 347ci V8 stroker engine with a dyno test. The engine is paired with a World Class T5 5-speed manual transmission. It rides on all-new suspension and direction parts, with rebuilt Moser axles and Truetrac posi-traction. This Mustang has disc brakes on all four corners, braided stainless-steel hoses, stainless-steel lines and one-piece exhaust. It has a full book of technical literature, complete with all the invoices, and more than $100,000 was invested on this car. It retains all of it original sheet metal and has since been rotisserie restored. The panels line up perfectly and is refinished in the original color of Red Poppy. The new Red Poppy exterior is a PPG base coat/clear coat with Wimbledon White stripes. The paint is cut and buffed to a great luster. All chrome and stainless is new or polished. Underneath the car a red epoxy paint primer was sprayed with great detail. The interior has been redone with nothing left untouched. All the Shelby touches have been included, except for the deleted rear seat, and has the fold-down rear seat option.
