Lot #233 - This 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air custom received a high-end professional two-year build that was completed in 2017. It's built on a custom Art Morrison GT Sport chassis that features a fully polished Dutchman independent rear suspension with Strange Engineering adjustable coilover shocks on all four corners and polished Wilwood brakes. This Resto-Mod has all-original body panels, excellent gaps, and is finished in a PPG Electric Blue and deep black combination. All the stainless and chrome were refurbished. The power plant is a fully polished GM Performance 502ci V8 Ram Jet engine dressed up with a Vintage Air front runner assembly and ceramic-coated Sanderson headers. The transmission is a GM 4L80E 4-speed automatic with overdrive backed by a fully polished Strange Engineering center section with 3.73 gears. This Bel Air rolls on custom-built 18x7" and 20x10" Foose Knuckle wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich g-Force Sport Comp 2 radials. The custom one-off interior is wrapped in Graphite Black Ultraleather and features Hot Rod gauges, Vintage Air, power windows, Lokar shifter and a Kenwood sound system.
