Lot #1553.1 - This 1968 Volkswagen Type II early bay-window bus has been fully customized while maintaining much of its traditional appearance. It has had only three registered owners since new and comes with its original warranty book. It was sold new in Fresno, CA, and remained there almost all its life. The professionally installed lowering kit gives it a very nice stance with its 17-inch chrome wheels. The Burnt Copper and white paint has been recently wet-sanded and polished to a brilliant luster. The interior is fully customized with two-tone limo-style seating. It is powered by its original 1600cc 4-cylinder engine along with its 4-speed manual transmission.
