Description
Lot #1450.1 - This U.S.-spec Ford GT comes with an accident-free CARFAX history and is in impeccable condition. Optioned with thick white racing stripes on Midnight Blue paint with red brake calipers, this car is theatrical in every sense of the word. With a very low and wide stance, it has racing pedigree written all over it. Lightweight forged aluminum wheels were optioned from the factory, giving this supercar an even more aggressive look, while reducing weight for much better handling over the standard wheels. The McIntosh sound is an absolute must in any GT. Built as a homage to the Ford GT Le Mans cars of the '60s, more than 30 years after the original, Ford unveiled their new GT concept. When the concept was met with awe and amazement at the Detroit Motor Show in 1995, Ford knew they had to put the car into production. Still impressive today, the Ford GT came with a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 engine connected to a 6-speed manual transmission. This GT has 3,400 actual miles. It features painted racing stripes, red painted brake calipers and lightweight forged aluminum. Recent service receipts are included.
