Lot #1157 - This original 1967 Pontiac GTO was the recipient of a complete professional restoration. It retains its matching-numbers 400ci V8 engine, 4-speed manual transmission and is equipped with the Ram Air option. It is one of 751 made with this option, of which 596 had the 4-speed manual transmission. It’s finished in code correct Regimental Red with a black vinyl Cordova top over a black bucket seat interior. It has been judged and awarded Concours Gold at the Eastern Regional GTOAA. Its original factory equipment options include a Ram Air engine producing a factory-rated 360hp, close-ratio 4-speed manual transmission, 4.33 Safe-T-Track rear axle, power steering and brakes, center console, Rally wheels, push-button AM radio and a rear center seat belt. Additional options include tinted glass, tilt steering column, electric trunk release and antenna, remote mirror, sport steering wheel, hood-mounted tachometer, Rally clock and headrest seats. It has also been featured as the cover car in High Performance Pontiac magazine with a feature article called “Ram Air Affair.” Comes complete with PHS paperwork and a 1967 Pontiac brochure.
