Lot #1012.1 - This 1969 Oldsmobile 442 convertible is documented with the original Window Sticker and is one of 87 produced in 1969 with the 400/350hp V8 engine and 3-speed heavy-duty manual transmission. It has had a complete ground-up, professional restoration. The body was completely stripped to bare metal and painted the correct Trophy Blue with every piece of chrome and stainless restored or replaced. The new interior is from Legendary Auto Interiors, and it features a new power convertible top. The original VIN matching-numbers 400ci V8 engine was completely rebuilt to stock and the under-hood components were restored to correct show-quality. Concours Gardner exhaust provides the unmistakable sound through the trumpet exhaust. This car was restored for show and go, and has been thoroughly sorted out to run and shift perfect, while all mechanicals, including the AM/FM radio and clock, work properly. The original Super Stock II wheels sit on correct red line tires. Ownership history from new and the original Window Sticker are included.
