Lot #1517 - Early 1970s El Lobo dune buggy sitting on a 1957 VW Beetle chassis. It is powered by a rebuilt 1600cc 4-cylinder dual port engine with a 4-speed manual transmission. This dune buggy was blasted, cleaned and painted in PPG paint, including the suspension parts. The custom 6-point roll bar was fabricated with the lower crossbar behind the seats and side-impact bars for safety. The body and roll bar were painted in Candy Blue Metallic PPG base coat/clear coat. It includes many chrome additions, rebuilt transaxle, custom side pods, rewired wipers, gauges and lights, and front and rear chrome bumpers.
