Description
Lot #619.1 - Before the Tundra or the T100, Toyota offered a unique model in their truck line: the one-ton. It was offered only in 1986, 1987 and 1988. This was the heavy-duty version of their standard fuel-efficient pickup. It is powered by a 22RE EFI 2.4-liter I4 engine with a 5-speed plus reverse manual transmission. This vehicle has a factory-stated 2,655-pound payload and can tow up to 5,000 pounds. Many of these were used as the chassis for the Dolphin and Winnebago motor home lines. This example had the full-size extra cab and the full-size bed installed. This is a one owner, original example of a unique Toyota truck. CARFAX shows Washington damage report on 02/18/2012: Accident reported involving right front impact with another motor vehicle, airbags did not deploy.
