Description
Lot #641 - With less than 60 miles since its completion, this 1964 Chevrolet Impala is the product of a 2-year, no-expense-spared custom build and features classic looks with plenty of unique modern upgrades. It’s powered by a performance-built 383ci 8-cylinder stroker engine that’s been outfitted with roller rockers, a full March Performance billet aluminum serpentine belt system, Northern aluminum dual-fan crossflow radiator, ceramic-coated headers and a custom 2-1/2” Flowmaster dual exhaust. Power is transferred through a Turbo 350 automatic transmission to the 20” front and 22” rear custom-built aluminum Intro wheels with unique brushed faces. This custom Impala is additionally equipped with power steering with an upgraded 500 Series gearbox, as well as a set of power 4-wheel disc brakes with huge Wilwood calipers, front and rear cross-drilled and slotted rotors, and upgraded Wilwood dual master cylinder. It sits on a full air-ride custom suspension that can be raised and lowered using push-button controls, and has custom-mounted shock absorbers and a fully adjustable trac bar for stability. It was painted in PPG Arctic White with a laser-straight finish. Many parts were shaved or modified for a sleek look, and both exterior and interior moldings have been anodized, chromed or refinished for uniform brightwork. The interior was refinished in Lipstick Red in a nostalgic appearance with modern amenities. It sports a factory dash-mounted 6000 rpm tachometer and a custom Kenwood CD player with Bluetooth capabilities, and MP3, iPod and 3.5 jack connectors.
