Description
Lot #623 - This 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 was custom built for the 2003 SEMA Show and equipped with a 2003 Cadillac Escalade front clip. To tuck a set of 26” Asanti wheels, the rear suspension received a 2-link with Panhard bar and was equipped with Air Lift Dominator 2,600-pound bags, along with ProComp shocks. To tuck the 11-inch-wide rear wheels, the factory rear end was narrowed 4-1/2”. The front suspension was air bagged and the upper control arms were raised to allow the truck to drop to the ground. The gas tank also had to be raised so it would not hang below the frame. The truck is equipped with two new VIAIR 440 chrome compressors, as well as Dakota Digital air management gauges for front and rear air pressure monitoring, and copper air lines. This custom build is powered by a factory 5.3-liter V8 engine with custom valve covers and custom Hammer Head air intake backed by an automatic transmission. It has 10,270 actual miles (the title reads mileage exempt) and is equipped with custom MagnaFlow exhaust, roll pan, skid plates and dual yellow top Optima batteries with dual alternators. Finished in DuPont Daytona Blue two-stage paint, this truck features smoothed stake pockets, molded rain gutters, flush LED taillights and third brake light reflector, a cowl hood and shaved suicide doors. The front grille and Asanti wheels have been painted in Cortez Silver. The interior features fully glassed panels throughout, blue LED lighting, a Kenwood Exelon head unit, four DVD monitors, four 500-watt Rockford Fosgate Punch amplifiers and 28 speakers. It also features Dynamat sound-deadening throughout, a Billet Specialties steering wheel, air conditioning, a full suede headliner and a Python alarm system with door poppers. This custom Silverado has been garage-kept since it was purchased by its third owner in 2012, and everything works as it should. It comes with all remote-control units and necessary manuals for the audio and video devices. CARFAX shows General Motors manufacturer safety recall issued on 09/17/2004: Tailgate support cable.
