Description
Lot #141 - This 1941 Plymouth Special Deluxe is finished in its original black paint with patina that has been preserved with a 4-stage process and has not been clear-coated. The car was stripped of its interior, suspension and engine and built back up with modern technology and features. It’s now powered by a Mopar 318ci crate engine that has been upgraded with a high-rise intake, custom-built headers, custom exhaust, custom FAST fuel injection and a management setup with onboard monitoring and adjustment. The Mopar engine is cooled by a custom-built aluminum radiator with thermostat-controlled electric fans. The engine is paired with an automatic transmission. The fuel system includes a custom-built polished fuel cell and regulated fuel pressure, and the brakes have been upgraded with power discs. This β€˜41 also has a hidden management system for both the air-ride and a Bluetooth remote audio system. The air-ride system has duel VIAIR compressors that are managed with an onboard E-Level controller and cell phone. The audio system is managed by a Secret Audio SST Bluetooth controller with a Diamond Audio 1200-watt amplifier. This setup eliminates the need for an in-dash head unit. The interior has been upgraded with genuine custom handmade distressed leather, fully restored interior paint, Dynamat insulation, custom handmade headliner and custom-made matching distressed leather door panels with laser etching. The carpet and mats were handmade using German Box weave and the wiring is all new with modern fuses. The windshield wipers have been upgraded with a new electric wiper setup, and a matching Coker whitewall spare tire is included behind the seat. Under the dash are hidden controls for a modern Vintage Air heating and cooling unit, with custom dash vents that look as if they were factory-installed. The Texas title matches the number stamped on the chassis, which in 1941, the chassis number would have also matched the original engine number. **TITLE IN TRANSIT** ** VIN NOTICE: THIS VEHICLE CURRENTLY HAS A VIN THAT MAY – DEPENDING ON THE STATE OF REGISTRATION – REQUIRE THE BUYER TO HAVE THE VEHICLE INSPECTED AND BE SUBJECT TO A STATE-ISSUED VIN AND/OR OTHER REQUIREMENTS OF THAT STATE.**
