Lot #469 - This big-block Chevy Nova is one of 5,262 made with an L78 396/375hp 8-cylinder engine, which is attached to a 4-barrel Holley carburetor and 11.0:1 roller cams for a deep throaty rumble. The engine is mated to a Muncie M22 Rock Crusher 4-speed manual transmission turning a 12-bolt rear end with 3.31 gears. This Nova SS is finished in Cortez Silver over a red interior and has been stored in a heated garage most of its restored life on a red carpet all its own. Detailed service records are included as well as documentation of all parts used in the rebuild of the engine. A frame-off restoration was done in the early 2000s in Tacoma, WA, and a new heavy-duty clutch was installed in the spring of 2019.
