Description
Lot #702 - This 1969 Nova Resto-Mod is a brand-new build that was completed in June 2019 with 736 break-in miles. The build was done using all PPG refinished products and is finished in Nardo Gray with matte black accents. It’s powered by a 7.0-liter LS7 V8 engine producing 505hp mated to a TREMEC TR6060 6-speed manual transmission. It's cooled down with an aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. It’s equipped with a Vintage Air Front Runner system, heating and air conditioning. The engine compartment was shaved, smoothed and color-matched to the outside. All wires and lines are hidden for a clean look. The suspension has been upgraded with a Speedtech Extreme subframe with torque arm rear suspension, front and rear dual adjustable aluminum coilovers, upper and lower tubular A-arms, Articulink trailing arm, rack & pinion setup, crossmember and Detroit Speed mini-tubs. Stopping power is provided by C6 Corvette Z06 disc brakes on all four corners, with 14” rotors up front and 13.5” rotors in the rear. This Nova is also equipped with a custom-built narrow rear end with an Auburn TrueTrac posi-traction unit, Moser axles and 3.73 gears. It also has a narrowed fuel tank, electric fuel pump, Ultimate long-tube headers, cold-air intake and a custom MagnaFlow 3” exhaust. The interior is completely custom, and features a set of front and rear Recaro seats out of a 2019 ZL1, custom-molded door panels and center console from TMI, Ididit tilt steering column, Billet Specialties steering wheel, a 2500-watt Pioneer stereo system with Bluetooth, and updated front dash with new Dakota Digital RTX gauges with Bluetooth capability. The 7-speed windshield wipers are from Detroit Speed. This Nova sits on a set of custom matte black 18” Forgeline 3-piece wheels with 18” tires. Additionally, all glass, windshield, molding and trim are brand-new. This is a complete nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration with over 2,000 man-hours in the build and no expense spared.
