Lot #766 - This 1966 Corvette was the recipient of a professional, no-expense-spared rotisserie restoration and custom build that took several years with over 1,000 man-hours invested. It is powered by a 6.2-liter V8 engine producing 525hp and equipped with a March Performance billet pulley system. The engine is mated to a TREMEC 6-speed manual transmission turning a Dana 44 rear end with 3.91 gears. It’s built on a custom SRIII frame with C4 Corvette independent rear suspension and C5 Corvette front suspension with QA1 double-adjustable coilovers all around. The hydroboost braking system operates a Wilwood master cylinder with C5 front and rear disc brakes and red powder-coated calipers. It also has an electronic emergency brake system. The body is finished in McLaren Silver paint and features a 1967 black Stinger hood that is smoothed underneath, slightly widened front and rear fenders with semi-tubbed rears, and tucked bumpers. The engine compartment has a smoothed firewall and is trimmed with custom-fabricated panels for a clean look. It sits on custom 18” front and 19” rear Boze wheels, all wrapped with Diamondback red line tires. The custom two-tone interior features full custom gray leather with red stitching, a suede headliner and leather floors with carpeted floor mats. It is equipped with a custom console and custom rear panels. Other modern amenities include a Vintage Air Gen 4 system, power steering, power windows, Eddie Motorsports interior handles, Classic Instruments gauges, Billet Specialties steering wheel, billet foot pedals, and a retro stereo with Bluetooth and iPhone connections, an 8" sub-woofer and four speakers.
