Description
Lot #1055 - In 1955, 1,725 Chrysler 300s were built and mostly for homologation purposes. This example has been fully restored within the last seven years. The car runs and drives well, powered by a 331ci HEMI V8 engine with dual Carter 4-barrel carburetors, producing a conservatively rated 300hp, backed by an automatic transmission. This Chrysler has been a Pacific Northwest car from new with no rust or rust repair, and its restoration was performed by a respected shop north of Seattle. It was built on May 18, 1955, two days ahead of schedule, as a power window-delete vehicle with a 3:54 rear end, Solex tinted glass, AM radio and factory heater. All original receipts, Build Card and Chrysler 300 Club Certification are included.
