KAO Autostyling was contracted to build six VW busses for the new RL boutique hotel chain. This bus has a fresh professionally rebuilt 1600cc 4-cylinder engine and a fresh Freeway Flyer 4-speed manual transmission, all-new brakes and suspension, all-new seals and trim, two-tone original wheels and whitewall tires. This bus has a factory air conditioning system and the original passenger seating has been removed and replaced with a custom limousine-style wrap-around seat upholstered in original Volkswagen green plaid to match the rest of the bus. The bus was professionally restored and is ready to show or drive.
