Lot #610 - Introduced in North America in the fall of 1982 as a 1983 model, the Porsche 944 fixed the perceived faults of the 924 and a fourth Porsche model line came onto the market. The Porsche 944 bridged the price and performance gap between the 924 and the 911 SC. This Porsche 944 features a 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine developed by Porsche mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. A front spoiler painted in the exterior color of the car with square rubber buffers as well as much wider, slightly angular wings clearly distinguishes the 944 from the 924.
