Lot #672 - This 1978 Porsche 930 Turbo is one of 461 made for the U.S. It’s finished in Guards Red with a black interior, and is powered by a 3.3-liter 6-cylinder engine mated to a 4-speed manual transmission. In 1978 the first generation 930 was given its first major upgrade – the engine displacement grew into 3.3 liters. It also received upgraded engine cooling, a bigger intercooler, higher compression, reduced turbo lag and larger brakes. This Turbo has factory air conditioning, an electric sunroof, Fuchs-style wheels in BFGoodrich G-Force tires, and maintains its original manual and sales brochures.
