Lot #53 - This 1953 MG TD roadster is presented in red with a tan top and tan interior, and retains its original drivetrain with a 1250cc 4-cylinder engine and a 4-speed manual transmission. It was body-off-restored in the late '90s and still shows well. Restoration photos and receipts totaling over $28,000 are included. The interior is new, as are the top and side curtains, and it rides on new radial tires mounted on wire wheels. Owner’s manual, shop repair manual and a parts book are included as well. This roadster was recently gone through and has been fully serviced with rebuilt carburetors, receipts for which are included. The ignition was upgraded to a Painless electronic ignition.
