Lot #671.1 - This 1986 Mercedes-Benz Unimog U1200 4x4 is powered by a 5.7-liter turbo diesel intercooled inline-6 engine backed by a heavy-duty transmission that offers eight forward gears, eight reverse, and two in crawler and working. The combination offers a total of 24 gears. The truck cruises with a top speed of over 75 mph with the fast-ratio portal axles. For trips off the pavement, the truck has dual differential locks and selectable 4-wheel drive from the comfort of the cab. The truck is also equipped with PTO shafts in the front and rear for additional implement connections. It has 53,057 original miles (the title reads mileage exempt) and 3,702 hours are shown on the gauge affixed to the engine. The engine has been upgraded with a larger intake, intercooler, tuned fuel pump and dual alternators. During its restoration, the cab was completely stripped down, insulated and upholstered from bottom to top. The seats were redone with saddle leather and bear a Texas cattle brand. It features a new stereo console and speakers with added with Bluetooth connectivity, and an air conditioning system was also installed.
