Description
Lot #707.1 - This 1967 Camaro Resto-Mod convertible is a brand-new build that was completed in February 2019 with less than 200 break-in miles. The build was done using all BASF refinished products. It’s powered by a brand-new GM Connect & Cruise powertrain with a 525hp LS3 engine mated to a 4L70 automatic transmission. It’s equipped with a Vintage Air Front Runner system, heat and air conditioning, power windows, power rack & pinion steering and an electric emergency brake. The cooling system is by DeWitts radiators with electric fans. The engine compartment is done with all wires and lines completely hidden for a clean look. The powder-coated front subframe is from Speedtech with coilover springs. The rear suspension is also from Speedtech with matching coilovers as well. Stopping power is provided by Baer disc brakes on all four corners. This custom Camaro is also equipped with a Moser 12-bolt rear end with a Truetrac posi-traction unit and 3.73 gears, custom notched fuel tank, Tanks Inc. electric fuel pump, and a completely polished and TIG-welded stainless-steel custom exhaust system. The completely custom interior features suede inserts, Ididit tilt column, factory-look RetroSound radio with Bluetooth, and a new-style Dakota Digital dash. Factory-style electric hideaway headlights, gray-tinted glass, billet hood and trunk hinges, and 18x8” front and 18x9” rear custom Schott wheels wrapped in Firestone tires complete the exterior look. Additionally, this convertible features a power top and all stainless-steel trim has been professionally polished. This is a complete nut-and-bolt rotisserie restoration with over 1,500 man-hours in the build and no expense spared.
