Lot #430 - Designed by Ford's Special Vehicle Team and with just 300 examples produced in model year 2000, the Cobra R was the top Mustang of its time. This Mustang Cobra R has approximately 1,100 actual miles. It’s powered by a high-performance naturally aspirated 5.4-liter V8 engine producing 385hp, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission, good for 0-60 mph in 4.7 seconds with a quarter-mile time of 13.2 seconds. Top speed is 170 mph. The Competition R package upgrade cost $23,840 - nearly as much as the car, which cost $27,605. It included key performance upgrades, such as high-performance brakes and exhaust, aluminum wheels, racing suspension and an aluminum radiator. This Cobra R is also equipped with air conditioning, and radio and rear seat delete for weight savings. It includes factory documentation and Window Sticker, even the original tires. It recently had a paint correction and ceramic coating applied for a nice mirror finish.
