Lot #757 - This 1957 Chevrolet Bel Air convertible is powered by a 283ci V8 Power Pack engine, producing 220hp, mated to an automatic transmission. The exterior is finished in Matador Red with a white convertible power top over a red and silver interior. It’s equipped with power steering and brakes, Wonder Bar radio, spinner wheel covers and decklid moldings. This older frame-off restoration was awarded AACA Senior First Place in 1995 and the First Place Award at the 2010 Lime Rock Sunday in the Park Concours, awards not included. This car has always been maintained in a climate-controlled facility and driven sparingly over the years, and only on sunny days.
