Lot #936 - This nicely restored older classic is finished in Dove Gray paint with luxurious upholstery and period-correct whitewall tires. It runs well powered by a 323ci inline 8-cylinder engine mated to a 3-speed manual transmission with factory overdrive and has had a recent tune up. The streamlined unibody construction, top-quality mechanics and art-deco styling made this car unlike anything else on the road at the time. This flagship of the Chrysler fleet became a limited production vehicle, ushered in by founder Walter P. Chrysler. This Airflow Imperial comes from a private collection.
