Lot #502 - Manufactured by Daimler in Coventry England, this is a fiberglass bodied 8-cylinder roadster with a 4-speed transmission. The 153 cid V8 was rated at 140hp and propelled the car to a top speed in excess of 120 mph with a 0-60 time of 9.7 sec. Total production was reported to be 2,648. The car weighed only 2090 lbs and had a new selling price of $3,900.00. The car was restored approximately 10-years ago. The top canvas is like new but the frame shows some surface rusting. The interior is in good-to-excellent condition and the paint is beginning to show minimal wear consistent with its 10-year old age.
