Description
Lot #1428.1 - This 1969 Mustang Boss 429 KK1634 is equipped with an HP block that was race-prepped by Dyno Don Nicholson's crew chief, Earl Wade. It sports a Boss 429ci V8 engine and an RUG-AE2 4-speed manual transmission. Additionally, the restrictive factory exhaust has been replaced with a high-performance setup complete from the headers to the tailpipe. To further improve the performance, the suspension has been upgraded with double adjustable shocks, the power steering has been removed and an upgraded shifter was installed, along with a Lecarra leather steering wheel. The car is finished in its factory shade of Wimbledon White with black interior. Having spent the majority of its life in southern California, this Boss 429 terrorized the street racing scene in the '70s and '80s. Although this car spent a lot of time street racing, it retains a lot of its original Boss 429-only parts, including original hood scoop and flapper, KKX spindles and rotors, strut rods, trans cross-member, spare hold-down brackets, rear sway bar setup and original wheels.
