Description
Lot #142.1 - Powered by Triumph's 2.5-liter straight-6 power plant, U.S.-spec models were carbureted and featured a 4-speed manual transmission. Built on a traditional frame design, these spritely cars use a rack & pinion steering and a semi-trailing arm independent rear suspension, with brakes consisting of discs at the front and drums at the rear. The interior is nicely appointed with bucket seats, a dashboard with walnut veneer and large-face Rally-oriented instrumentation, as well as a deck-mounted luggage rack. This original example is painted in Saffron Yellow and has a tonneau cover and an auxiliary factory hardtop. It features mild changes from stock, but original components are included. Today, it rides on Michelin red line tires and 15” factory wheels, and has 62,805 original miles.
